    The dangers of excessive masturbation.

    I’m Dr. Trish Leigh.

Let’s talk about do you masturbate too much?

Indeed. Yes indeed. And then we’ll break it down.

    What are the dangers?

Okay, first of all I want you to know that if you masturbate consistently and frequently, there are reasons for healthy men, healthy women, to not feel the need to masturbate every day or multiple times a day.

Can masturbation be healthy in a healthy sex, sexuality, lifestyle? Yes, but not with the frequency and consistency of two to seven times a week. If you masturbate so frequently, it’s to fulfill a need for self-soothing.

That’s how we know that compulsive hypersexual behavioral disorder is a real disease.

It’s because your brain is pulling you back and making you feel good. This has to do with the dopamine that is released in the brain.

When you masturbate frequently so it becomes masturbation dependent. So if it’s a lot of times a week, then it’s fulfilling a need that’s not just sexual. That’s what I want you to know.

Stop masturbating. Stop masturbating for a week or two and see what happens to your brain. You’ll feel it. I know this from thousands of people working with me and you will feel the pull on your brain. The compulsive, compulsive need to go back.

Now, another danger of masturbation is that masturbation doesn’t happen alone.

Another danger is your masturbation to fantasy or pornographic content. We know from science that if you’re consuming fantasy pornographic content that goes along with it.

It’s actually reducing the activity in your frontal lobe, it’s taking out the reward centers in the middle of your brain, which can lead to a whole host of problems.

When your frontal lobe isn’t working properly, your thinking and cognition declines.

So your ability to think, to remember, to concentrate, to feel declines.

Your ability to plan something and follow through is reduced. At the same time, social anxiety skyrockets.

Health anxiety increases due to brain dysregulation. More masturbation makes you feel more depressed. It can make you feel sick all over or just feel uncomfortable. It can add to your emotional and mental health issues.

We know this. Science shows this. It can also give you physical problems like developing erectile dysfunction because the reward centers in your brain have become desensitized.

So you need more mental and physical stimulation for arousal. That’s why you have to go back to masturbating more consistently and more often. It’s a dependency, a compulsion. It’s not good for you.

So here’s the other danger: it will make you go out of your way to masturbate instead of having sex with your partner.

If you don’t try to walk into the world having found a partner, you become complacent and satisfied.

Now self-soothing through masturbation is something I’ve heard of too many people doing by the thousands.

    What about my prostate?

You know, I’m trying to prevent prostate cancer. You have a hijacker in your head. That’s hypersexualized OCD. It’s your brain telling you that we need to masturbate again to feel good. That hijacker lies to you. He lies to you. He told you that you masturbate to prevent prostate cancer.

I’m here to tell you that the effects of masturbation on prostate cancer are inconclusive.

There are studies that show excessive masturbation is unhealthy for the prostate. However there are studies that show inconclusive.

If you go to a urologist multiple times, they don’t know, if you have a compulsive hypersexual behavior disorder. They’re not going to ask you, do you masturbate a lot? They won’t ask you, do you consume pornography?

If you are concerned about prostate cancer, see a urologist. But if you do, be sure to tell him or her that you watch pornography. You masturbate a lot because it changes the equation. Urologists are trained to tell people that if they have prostate problems, masturbation is good for you. But if you masturbate a lot, masturbation is not good for you, or for your brain. The damage to the brain offsets the risk of prostate cancer.

For young people, this number is incredibly low.

If you visit cancer. org, you’ll read for yourself. It’s very rare in men under the age of 60. Therefore, frequent masturbation is not associated with prostate cancer. Don’t let yourself be fooled, because every time you let yourself be fooled, you’re damaging your brain, okay?

If you think you masturbate too much

it’s not a healthy habit and you’re looking for help.

Control your brain or it will control you.

Masturbating sex doll torso review can help you build healthy sexual habits.
